Kindergarten Pre-Registration opens on February 1 of each year for Wayland resident families that intend on enrolling their child(ren) in Wayland Kindergarten the following Fall. Pre-Registration helps the district determine school assignments and class sizes at each school.

Wayland Public Schools is migrating to a new student enrollment registration system! This Kindergarten class and new WPS families will be the first to use our new PowerSchool Enrollment system, which will collect all necessary student and family information, replacing the need to send out additional paperwork and emails at the start of the school year. As this is a new system, all registering families - regardless of whether you have another child enrolled in Wayland Public Schools - will need to create a new login to register your child.

Wayland Public Schools is required to provide transportation for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade who live more than two (+2) miles from their assigned school.

Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade who live less than two (-2) miles from their assigned school will be eligible for fee based transportation, based upon space availability. School bus transportation registration will remain open through June 20, 2025.
