Kindergarten Pre-Registration opens on February 1 of each year for Wayland resident families that intend on enrolling their children in Wayland Kindergarten the following Fall. Pre-Registration assists the district in determining the appropriate number of classrooms, staffing and school bus transportation for our incoming Kindergarteners.

Please review this Registration Checklist for required documents that will need to be uploaded as part of your child's Kindergarten registration.

• Please visit our Transportation website, where you will find details related to bus fees, financial assistance, bus routes and stops.
   
• Registration is required for all students who intend on riding the bus and is based upon space availability. Once your child's school registration has been reviewed, you will receive an email from WPS Transportation Office with registration and payment links. 
   
• Students in Grades K-6 (over 2 miles): Wayland Public Schools provides transportation for students living more than two miles from their school.
   
• Students in Grades K-6 (under 2 miles) and in Grades 7-12: If you live within two miles of the school, or are in grades 7-12, fee-based transportation is available as space permits.
