Wayland High School will host a patriotic halftime show on Friday September 11 during the WHS football game in observance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11. At halftime, our local Veterans, Police, Fire, and Emt personnel will take the field to present our nation's colors. We will honor these local heroes as well as reflect on this 25th anniversary. The WHS Band will perform a patriotic selection and echo taps. The football game starts at 5pm and the halftime show will take place at approximately 5:40pm at Wayland High School.

Wayland High School is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, especially those with life-threatening allergies or asthma.

Students who require EpiPens or asthma inhalers should carry their own medication at all times to ensure immediate access to treatment. A backup EpiPen or inhaler may be stored in the Health Office if desired.

In order for students to carry and self-administer their medications, we must have a current physician’s order and/or Emergency Action Plan (e.g., Emergency Health Care Plan for EpiPen administration or Asthma Action Plan), as well as parental authorization. These forms must be updated each school year and are available on the Wayland Public Schools website or from the Health Office.

Celebrate the senior class this fall by providing an experience and a meal they never forget.  The senior class will travel together to three different student homes over the course of an evening.

Would you be interested in hosting this event?  We will need 3 host families that live close to one another and can accommodate 200 Seniors.  Please reach out to Jennifer McGuinn (jennifer_mcguinn@waylandps.org) if you would be interested in hosting this special evening.   

Please sign in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and select Returning Student Registration to complete your forms as soon as possible.

These forms are required for all students, including those new to Wayland Public Schools, and provide schools with current contact, emergency, and health information for the start of the year.

New to Wayland? Families new to the district will receive an email on 8/19 with instructions for accessing their PowerSchool Parent Portal accounts.

Student parking passes are available for purchase during lunch block.

All students must complete the Student Parking Contract and have their driver's license available for confirmation.

Payment can either be made online via Unipay or by check payable to Wayland High School. Please note there is a convenience fee for paying online.

Wayland Student Press Network (WSPN) has partnered with Revolution Prep to offer digital SAT and ACT practice exams that students can take at home.

Exams can be taken with a proctor on a specific date or self-proctored to fit your schedule. Exams are $20 and all proceeds go to supporting the Wayland Student Press Network.
