Support the PTO Today: Gift Your Child
From school essentials and enrichment to staff appreciation and community building, Wayland PTO delivers value to your child’s education. Every year, Wayland PTO contributes funding to our five schools, along with countless volunteer hours. These funds and time support our students, enable our staff, and build our community.
No matter what grade your child is in or what their interests are, the PTO is here to support them! The Wayland PTO is a non-profit organization, and the generous contributions of our parent community to Gift Your Child directly fund all of our activities.

Everything You Want To Know About Parent Square
What is PowerSchool?
It’s the new “Student Information System” for the Wayland Public Schools. It replaces Home Access Center (HAC).
What can I view in PowerSchool?
- Class schedules
- Grades
- Attendance
- Class assignments, due date and missing assignments
- Report cards (Only the High School can view historical grades.)
- Teachers names and email addresses
How do I access it?
Once you have an account set up, you can login via the web interface or the mobile app.
How do I set up an account?
Around August 15th, the primary account holder for your student (listed as “mother) should have received an email from WAYLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS. The subject line said “PowerSchool Account Change.”
Where do I login on the web:
Where can I find the mobile app?
What is the school code for the mobile app?
What do I do if I can’t find this email or I have trouble logging in?
It may be that the information the school has in the system is incorrect. You can submit a support ticket using the Google Form at: https://forms.gle/592Fqm8e1kePE7Pb8
Here is a PowerSchool FAQ: Parent Portal FAQs for Families
What is it?
ParentSquare is a communication hub for staff, families, and students. You can find the weekly Principal’s message and Friday eNews all in one place. The FAQ below has a lot of information about how to personalize your experience.
I’m not sure if I signed up for ParentSquare. Have I missed important information?
No, the school still sends all communication by email.
How do I sign up?
You should have received an email from the district inviting you to sign up. Regardless, you can go to parentsquare.com and register for an account with your email address.
I needed a school code for PowerSchool. Do I need one for ParentSquare?
No.
Where can I find the mobile app?
What if I can’t login?
If you have difficulty with the login and/or registration process, reach out to your building’s Instructional Technology Support specialist and they can help you get set up.
